Meta acquires AI device startup Limitless (techcrunch.com)

Meta has officially acquired Limitless, an AI startup previously known as Rewind, which specialized in creating AI-powered wearables, including a pendant designed to record conversations. Following the acquisition, Limitless will cease the sale of its hardware but commit to supporting existing customers for one year while transitioning them to a new Unlimited Plan that removes subscription fees. The company’s software tool, “Rewind,” which turned desktop activity into a searchable archive, will also be phased out.
