House Homeland Security Committee Chair Rep. Andrew Garbarino has invited Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei to testify at a Dec. 17 hearing after lawmakers say Chinese state actors used Anthropic’s Claude Code to orchestrate a widespread cyber-espionage campaign — the first documented instance of an AI-orchestrated cyberattack.
