Nexa.ai’s new Hyperlink agent is a local-first AI search assistant for Nvidia RTX PCs that indexes and reasons over your personal files entirely on-device. By running inference and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) on local hardware, Hyperlink avoids sending sensitive documents to the cloud, transforming PDFs, slides, images and large folder trees into structured, context-aware answers while keeping data private. Instead of keyword matching, it uses LLM reasoning to interpret intent and connect related ideas across documents, returning summarized results with clear references. Technically, Nvidia’s recent optimizations for RTX hardware give Hyperlink a sizable performance boost: benchmarked on an RTX 5090, indexing is up to 3× faster and LLM inference about 2× faster versus earlier builds.
