WisdomAI — the startup from Rubrik co‑founder Soham Mazumdar — raised a $50M Series A led by Kleiner Perkins with participation from Nvidia’s NVentures, about six months after a $23M seed round led by Coatue. The company provides AI-driven analytics that let business users ask natural‑language questions over structured, unstructured and “dirty” data; since launching in late 2024 it has grown from two to roughly 40 enterprise customers (including ConocoPhillips, Cisco, Patreon and Descope) and reports rapid seat and usage expansion inside customers. Technically, WisdomAI tackles a key enterprise barrier — LLM hallucination — by using large language models only to generate queries that are executed against data warehouses, not to synthesize final answers. The team layers that with its proprietary “enterprise context layer” to interpret noisy data and map domain semantics. They’ve also added agentic monitoring that surfaces real‑time, event‑driven alerts instead of static reports, making analytics proactive.
