Claude AI is catching up fast with Memory for Pro users – and it plays nicely with ChatGPT and Gemini (www.techradar.com)

Anthropic is rolling out a Memory feature for paid Claude users—available now to $100/month Max subscribers and arriving to $20/month Pro users over the next few days—that lets the assistant remember past conversations, project context and user preferences to deliver more personalized, efficient responses. Memory supports distinct “spaces” (so separate projects don’t bleed into one another), gives full transparency (you can review, edit or delete specific memories), and includes an Incognite chat toggle for ephemeral sessions. Max users can enable it in Settings today. Technically and strategically, the feature matters because it closes a core UX gap for multi-session workflows: sustained context across days or weeks enables Claude to act more like a long-term collaborator on roadmaps, codebases or creative work. Import/export compatibility with ChatGPT and Google’s Gemini lowers migration friction and positions Claude as interoperable in multi‑model toolchains.
