Show HN: Clarpex – Free AI photo fixer, no sign-up needed (clarpex.ai)

Clarpex, a new AI-powered photo quality enhancer, has been launched, allowing users to fix blurry, grainy, or low-resolution images directly in their browsers without any sign-up required. It offers a free daily credit system, enabling users to enhance photographs—including portraits, product shots, and old family photos—by recovering details lost to blur, noise, or pixelation. The tool is designed to produce cleaner images by reconstructing missing pixels and smoothing out imperfections while retaining natural contrasts, making enhancements effortless for non-tech savvy users. This development is significant for the AI/ML community as it democratizes access to advanced image processing techniques, previously only available through professional software like Photoshop or Lightroom. Clarpex utilizes state-of-the-art AI models to rebuild image detail intelligently and efficiently, providing a streamlined alternative to manual editing. The tool can process common image formats like JPG, PNG, and WebP, and tackles various photo issues—including enhancing low-resolution images and repairing old prints—making it a versatile option for casual and serious photographers alike.
