A new resource has emerged for the AI and machine learning community: free interactive courses in Python and SQL that run directly in users' browsers. These courses are designed to enhance skills in data engineering and analytics, providing hands-on experiences that allow learners to query databases, analyze data, and develop programming knowledge without needing extensive setup. Users can currently access SQL and Python courses, with planned courses in PySpark, Power BI, machine learning, and AI engineering that will cover essential concepts such as distributed processing, data modeling, and large language models. This initiative is significant as it democratizes access to valuable training in vital areas of AI and data science, making it easier for individuals to acquire essential technical skills. The browser-based format eliminates barriers related to software installation, allowing users to focus on learning efficiently. Moreover, the introduction of courses covering advanced topics like machine learning pipelines and AI engineering tools promises to equip learners with the knowledge necessary to thrive in an increasingly data-driven landscape, fostering the next generation of innovators in AI and ML.
