Show HN: FlexChords – chords for any YouTube song, from a model I trained (www.flexchords.com)

FlexChords has introduced a groundbreaking tool that generates accurate guitar chords, musical keys, and tempos for any YouTube video or audio file using an advanced deep learning model. This innovative AI-powered system allows musicians and producers to effortlessly transpose songs and play along with synchronized chord cards that match the music in real time. The model's effectiveness was validated against songs it had never encountered, utilizing the MIREX research standard for accuracy assessment. This development is significant for the AI/ML community as it showcases the application of neural networks in music transcription, paving the way for enhanced tools in music education and production. With features like an interactive timeline for quick chord navigation, smooth auto-scroll for active chord display, and MIDI export compatibility with popular Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs) like Logic, Ableton, and Reaper, FlexChords has the potential to transform how musicians engage with and learn new songs. By bridging technology and music, this tool not only streamlines the creative process but also enhances accessibility for aspiring guitarists.
