Show HN: Whitedeck – Black on White Keynote Like Slides Claude Skill (github.com)

Whitedeck is a new tool that transforms markdown into sleek, minimalistic slides for Apple Keynote, reinstating a focus on content rather than flashy design elements commonly associated with AI-generated presentations. The software is designed to produce outputs in various formats, including HTML, PDF, editable PPTX, and Keynote's native format, all while adhering to Apple's layout specifications. By stripping away distracting elements like gradients and emojis, Whitedeck emphasizes straightforward arguments and clear evidence, appealing to users who prioritize substance over style. This development is significant for the AI/ML community as it enhances the usability of presentations generated by AI agents, ensuring they maintain a professional appearance while delivering coherent information. Whitedeck's architecture integrates precise geometry measurements pulled directly from Apple’s Keynote layout, enabling exact replication in the exported formats. It operates across major operating systems, including macOS, Linux, and Windows, making it accessible for a broad range of users. With its focus on clean design and functionality, Whitedeck sets a new standard for presentation tools in the age of AI, allowing for a more data-driven dialogue in professional and academic settings.
