This infrastructure can run millions of sandboxes with remarkable efficiency, delivering sub-500ms resume times and supporting over 500 activations per second. Agent Substrate is optimized for GKE but can operate on any Kubernetes platform, addressing critical challenges in deploying AI agents at scale, such as security risks from untrusted code, latency issues, and inefficient resource utilization.
