Edgee has launched its AI Gateway as a fully on-premise deployment, allowing organizations to process sensitive data such as financial transactions and clinical records within their own secure infrastructure. This development is crucial for entities requiring strict data residency compliance, as it enables them to utilize advanced features for compressing, routing, and observing data without compromising control over critical elements like provider keys and prompts. The on-premise solution includes a Docker Compose setup for single VMs and a Helm chart for Kubernetes environments, ensuring seamless integration regardless of the infrastructure. Key capabilities, such as centralized configuration management and request-level observability, are maintained, with prompts and API keys remaining within the organization’s control. For fully air-gapped environments, Edgee has designed a headless mode to manage configurations locally, further securing sensitive data. This move empowers compliance and security teams with enhanced control, making Edgee's technology accessible without the risk of data being shared externally.
