The reflection dashboard, located in the Settings of Claude's web and desktop apps, provides insights into usage patterns, task types, and engagement frequency. Users can track their activity over various timeframes and answer reflective questions, enabling them to consider when to rely on AI versus managing tasks personally. Significantly, this feature is designed not only to improve user engagement with Claude but also to promote responsible AI usage through the 4D AI Fluency Framework—Delegation, Description, Discernment, and Diligence. The tool emphasizes privacy by not including data from incognito chats or sensitive integrations, ensuring that users' reflective insights are secure. By collaborating with experts from the MIT Media Lab and other organizations, the initiative aims to empower users to build AI skills while maintaining a focus on their original thought processes.
