JetBrains has launched JetBrains Air, its innovative Agentic Development Environment (ADE), for Windows x64 and ARM users, expanding its availability beyond macOS and Linux. Air allows developers to delegate coding tasks to AI agents, streamlining the development process. Unlike traditional Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) focused on text editing, Air centers around the AI agent, facilitating a dedicated workspace where developers can run tasks, review outcomes, and maintain their coding workflow. The significance of JetBrains Air lies in its capacity to enhance productivity and collaboration by enabling parallel task execution with AI.
