Microsoft unveils MDASH, its AI agent-driven security platform (www.techradar.com)

Microsoft has launched MDASH, an innovative AI-driven vulnerability discovery platform that orchestrates over 100 specialized agents. This platform has already identified 16 new vulnerabilities in Windows components, including four critical remote code execution vulnerabilities, one of which is tracked as CVE-2026-33827 in the tcpip.sys file. The significant discovery of these flaws demonstrates MDASH's potential in enhancing cybersecurity, as these vulnerabilities could be exploited by unauthenticated remote attackers. Developed by Microsoft’s Autonomous Code Security Team, MDASH excels at minimizing false positives, achieving a perfect score during testing. It recorded 96% recall against five years of Microsoft Security Response Center cases and achieved the highest score on the CyberGym benchmark, highlighting its accuracy and reliability. As Microsoft integrates MDASH internally and shares it in private previews with select customers, the company emphasizes that AI-driven vulnerability discovery has evolved into a practical, enterprise-scale defense solution, marking a pivotal advancement in how security threats are identified and managed.
