I scanned 30 Swedish companies for AI agent readiness – median is 14/100 (agent.opensverige.se)

A recent analysis evaluated the readiness of 30 Swedish companies for AI agents, revealing a concerning median score of just 14 out of 100. This study highlights the current limitations faced by businesses in deploying sophisticated AI agents like ChatGPT and Claude, which offer functionalities such as booking reservations and comparing prices. The findings indicate that many companies lack the foundational infrastructure required to support these advanced AI systems, which rely on robust APIs and seamless data access. This assessment is significant for the AI/ML community as it underscores the gaps in readiness that might hinder broader adoption of AI technologies in the corporate sector. The open-source tool used for this evaluation, available on GitHub, simplifies the assessment process into 13 key checks that can be completed in just 30 seconds, making it accessible for companies to gauge their AI readiness. By identifying these deficiencies, companies can better understand the necessary steps to integrate AI agents, ultimately paving the way for improved automation and efficiency in business operations.
