The growth is tracked thanks to Deezer's patent-pending AI music detection tool, which distinguishes AI-generated music and was launched in January 2025. The report highlights a significant escalation from just 18 percent of total uploads being AI-generated a few months prior. However, despite the volume of uploads, AI songs account for only 1 to 3 percent of total streams, many of which are deemed fraudulent and are demonetized.
