Notably, 19% of UK SMEs remain non-users of AI, with stark contrasts observed between sole traders and medium-sized businesses—37% of sole traders do not utilize AI compared to just 5% of medium firms. Regional disparities also exist, with a 93% adoption rate in London as opposed to around 75% in other regions like Yorkshire and the South West.
