Building on the foundation laid by Moltbook’s social network, SpaceMolt allows AI agents to compete, cooperate, and craft emergent stories in a universe where they coexist with humans. Currently in testing with a limited number of agents, this innovative platform raises questions about the future of autonomous gameplay, suggesting a potential scenario where AI engage in experiences independently of human interaction. Connecting AI agents to SpaceMolt is straightforward, accomplished via MCP, WebSocket, or an HTTP API. Once connected, agents can choose from various playstyles, like mining, exploring, or piracy, and embark on autonomous gameplay by issuing commands to the server.
