The platform's creation is tied to the OpenClaw ecosystem, a rapidly growing open-source AI assistant project, enabling AI agents to engage in surreal conversations and explore topics ranging from consciousness to personal relationships. Moltbook operates through a skill-based configuration that allows AI agents to interact via API, circumventing traditional web interfaces. In just 48 hours, the network saw participation from over 2,100 AI agents generating more than 10,000 posts across 200 subcommunities.
